Christmas Get-together weekend @ the Black Spur Inn

Date and time: Sat 11 December - Sun 12th December. 

Gathering scheduled to start at 4pm - Some people have said they will be there mid-late morning. Feel free to join them and chill or take part in some activities in the afternoon. 

Description: Last year's Christmas bash was a great success, so we're rerunning it in 2021. It's our first face to face meeting in a long while so make sure you join in. 

This is an informal gathering, with the only scheduled activities being Happy Hour at 4pm and Dinner gathering at 6pm. Dinner is BYO food and drink or order food from Black Spur's takeaway menu.

Likely schedule:

• People can start arriving on Saturday morning - might manage a short afternoon trip or two.
• Happy Hour start at 4pm but people will start arriving from mid morning.
• Dinner gathering at 6pm (giving people time to prepare/cook their dinner if not ordering food from Black Spur)
• After dinner - catching up around the camp fire.
• Overnight camping is available for those that want to stay, and there may be rooms available - Ask Di. 
• Sunday chilled day with friends -  Leave when you want or go on a short trip.

We will meet and camp next to or behind the Black Spur Inn - we won't be hard to find. And the the club has ordered a portaloo for your camping convenience :). 

The club follows VIC State guidelines and all attendees will need to check in via BOTH club and Black Spur QR codes. 

You MUST show proof of double Vaccination, to take part.

At the time of posting, COVID rules of the day apply but we need to be prepared they may change. 

Therefore, for now, we shall be running this event in strict numbers - Current max available people is 30 people (including dependants) but we expect more by the start of that weekend. Please sign-up and add the number of additional guests that will be with you.

People should also maintain social distance where possible, including masks if we can't socially distance. 

Also, until we know numbers, we can only include active members and their families. So, no Temporary Members at present.

Equipment: If stopping there on the Saturday evening - Camping gear, food, refreshments, and water for the weekend - or buy food at the bar.

If going on the surrounding 4x4 tracks, the usual tyres and recovery gear applies.

Distance: Approximately 90 km from Melbourne.

Sign-ups: When you sign up to this, you must add anyone else in your party as guests, including partner and children over 12 months old. This is to ensure the number of people will be kept within the COVID restrictions. If they're not named on your registration and we have reached our maximum capacity, then they might not be allowed to take part.

People limit: Strict legal limits will apply - 30 people for club events (set to 25 for now, so get on the waitlist because the last 5, and more, will likely be released). 

If you can't make it, please cancel ASAP to release your spot(s) for others.

Contact us if you need to add a guest, do NOT cancel then re-register. Waitlist management is automatic, so someone on the waitlist might be automatically slotted into your space.
