Introduction / Refresher to Winching and Recovery

Description:   The intent of the day is to go over winch operation, use of winch and recovery equipment.

There will be practical aspects for everyone to get involved in and to use some of your own equipment.

It is hoped to have scenarios set up and group tasks set.

This is a beginner level course and will not result in any certification. The aim is to provide an opportunity to practice recovery using your own equipment and answer any questions anyone may have.

Weather:  Winter in Melbourne, be prepared for cold and wet weather. 

Equipment:  You do not need to have a winch to be able to attend the day and increase your knowledge. Anyone considering buying a winch may benefit from coming along as well.
