Jo and I will be in Port Douglas in July this year, and we're looking to head up to Cape York with some other club members.
The trip details are to be confirmed yet, but we will be leaving Port Douglas on the 13th July and spending about 10 days travelling to the tip. Once at the top, the group will then split to go in different directions.
We're likely to "do the main sights" on the way North so those that have less time can leave earlier than the rest without missing out. The others will take more time at the tip and/or  heading South.

We'll be in our 4x4 motorhome, and there will be a couple of cars with trailers. So, the pace will be modest and we'll avoid the crazy tracks where possible.
