We commence our exploration within the Goulburn State Forest, by fording the Goulburn River and then heading up the Snake Edwards Divide Track to join the Jamieson-Licola Road, some 7km from the summit of Mt Skene at 1574m. We will visit Silverwater Hut, out of Wrens Flat.
On Sunday, we will ford the Jamieson River into the Jamieson State Forest and head up and along Mitchells Track, visiting the Mitchells Homestead site, an old slate mine and enjoying ridge line views before dropping down into Jamieson for a 4.00pm arrival
