Robert Pepper’s 4wd Treks Close To Melbourne – Trek 13 – Marysville – Thornton
Description: We will be leaving Marysville bakery at 9am sharp. We will be heading towards Ned’s Gully for morning tea, then off to Kendall’s B for lunch. We will then continue to Thornton to end the day’s trip before heading back to the Black Spur Inn for the night for dinner & drinks.
We will be running Trek 12 and Trek 13 during the weekend with an overnight accommodation or camping at the Black Spur Inn in Narbethong, but either of these treks can be done as a day trip, so register for both if you intend to stay overnight at Narbethong.
Accommodation: At Black Spur Inn either rooms or camping available contact Jim or Di Kennedy Direct to claim your Club Discount, (online booking does NOT apply for this). First in best dressed so be quick and advise if you will be dinning with us on Saturday evening. We will book at table in bistro for dinner on Saturday night to have a meal and drinks after the day’s adventures.
Weather: At this time of year it will be hot so take plenty of water, a hat & SLIP SLOP SLAP….
Equipment: A sound 4wd with low range capability, good all terrain tyres, UHF radio and your usual recovery gear.

Distance: Trek 13 - 72.9kms. Trek 12 - 28.2kms
Duration: Trek 13 - 1 Day. Trek 12 - ½ day/day

Meeting Arrangements: We will be leaving Marysville bakery at 9am sharp on Saturday morning, so if you plan to get coffee beforehand then you will need to arrive a little earlier.
