Marysville to Thornton 

Description: We'll be heading towards Neds Gully for morning tea and then up to trestle bridge for lunch. Then returning to the Black Spur Inn for a coffee before we head home. 

Approx. 1 1/2 hours back to the outer eastern suburbs via the black stuff.

WeatherCheck local weather the day before the trip. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear.

Equipment:  Driver training handy but not essential.  Vehicles need to have low range 4WD capability with good all-terrain tyres and  UHF radio equipped ( or one borrowed from the club). 

 



Bring basic recovery gear; snatchem straps and shackles, gloves hats and glasses and clothes suitable for the likely conditions.


Don’t forget to bring your morning tea and lunch.

Please leave pets at home.

Fuel: Caltex Fuel available at Marysville  

Distance: Approximately 85km

Duration: 1 day

Convoy limit: 4 vehicles plus 6 reserved spaces for new members.  If you would like to come along and the trip is full, please add your name to the waitlist.  New members will be given preference, followed by the next on the waitlist.     

Meeting arrangements:  We will leave Marysville 9am sharp.  If you want a coffee before we start you will need to arrive a bit earlier.
