DESCRIPTION:https://www.rangeroverclub.org.au/event-3164165\n\nLong Weekend Extension trip - Bright & Canberra \n  Description:  Trip will now commence in Bright where we will stay Tuesday\, Wednesday and Thursday nights at the NRMA caravan park.  Days in Bright can be a mix of sightseeing\, coffees and some 4WDing but that is up for discussion.  Friday morning we will depart from Bright and head for Canberra again the route for this section can be up for discussion ...highway or up through Kosciusko NP? Bushfire risk may have an impact on our decision. \n\n     In Canberra we have an unpaid group booking at the Canberra Exhibition Campground. They have estimated we will be offered a group price of approx. $30 per night inc power. The main reason for going to Canberra is to see some of the National Sheepdog trails but there are plenty of other things to do in Canberra at that time.\n    https://www.nationalsheepdogtrials.org/for-spectators.html\n\n    After that you can either elect to stay on in Canberra or make your way home by whichever route you choose.\n\n          Weather:  Canberra should be fairly mild at that time of year\, but who knows so bring appropriate gear for a variety of conditions..           \n   Equipment:  Vehicles need to have low range 4WD capability with good all-terrain tyres and  UHF radio equipped ( or one borrowed from the club).  Usual recovery gear should be carried.
