The reserve is on the left hand side at the northern end of the main street. We will then head to Yea Rock\, the former site of a fire tower (and hopefully some views over the tracks recently covered)\n A mixture of forest roads and 4WD tracks will take us along the western edge of the Narbethong pine plantation\, finishing at the Black Spur Inn – Narbethong\, for a coffee before a scenic drive home over the Black Spur and through Healesville.\n\n Weather: Should be fine at this time of the year\, although there is always the possibility of rain. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for a short forest walk.\n Equipment: Well-maintained vehicle with low range\, good all terrain tyres\, low range\, 4WD and reasonable clearance (200mm suggested). Standard recovery gear including rated recovery points\, snatch strap and shackles\, dampener\, and UHF radio (or one borrowed from the club).\n Trip Standard: Easy - medium with some rocky tracks!\n Distance: Approximately 85km\n\n Duration: 1 day\n Fuel: A full tank ex Melbourne.\n Convoy limit: 12 vehicles \n Meeting Arrangements: 9:00 am Sunday morning at the Yarra Glen Bake House (opposite the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel in Yarra Glen).\n Trip Leader: Graeme Carter.
