Welcome to 2012! This is a quick note to remind you about the first club meeting of the year, coming up this Tuesday. The details are:
Vale Peter Duell

It is with sadness that we advise that RRCV club member, Peter Duell, passed away on Saturday 28 January after a hard fight with Motor Neurone Disease. Over the past 12 months Peter has been lovingly cared for at home by Liz. Peter died peacefully at home on Saturday, surrounded by his family.
A Funeral Service will be held in St George's Anglican Church, 296 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern on Friday 3 February at 2.30 pm, followed by a private cremation. The family would appreciate donations to either MND Vic or Bethlehem Hospital in lieu of flowers.
Our thoughts are with Liz and the family at this difficult time.

Fry's Hut Mainetanance Weekend, 4-5 February
29 January 2012 - 9:32pm — web_adminThe High Country Hut's Association received a grant to cover ongoing repairs to Fry's Hut ( Sheep Yard Flat near Mansfield). They need 12-14 volunteers to assist on the first rebuild for 2012

A reminder that if you are interested in this very special trip in August next year, you need to let Trip Leader Ross Gardiner know this week.
The paperwork and permits need lots of notice and Ross neds to get the ball rolling. The first application goes in in 1 November.
