Subject: FW: Craig's Hut Dinner Request for Assistance

Hello to you all,

Four Wheel Drive Victoria, are looking to celebrate our 35th Anniversary with a Black Tie Dinner at Craig's Hut on December 4th this year.

A sub committee is currently assessing the financial feasibility as well as the logistical component, as our intention is to run this event as a non profit, break even event, and we would look to disperse any excess between the worthwhile entities who look after the Craig's Hut area.

The format will follow the very successful dinners held from 1973 thru to 2000, with prominent personalities and entertainment invited to enhance the function, which will hopefully see 200 guests sipping champagne in the hut itself, before being seated to a scrumptious three course meal with all the trimmings.

This email therefore, is looking to find enthusiastic volunteers required to assist in organising and running the event itself. Duties required will include, coordinating grass mowing and clearing, setting up of tables etc, electrical and power requirements, as well as traffic planning and control and a host of other tasks.

The event itself hinges in a huge part on the support of the volunteer component of which we estimate we need some thirty to maybe fifty people. We are obliviously trying to keep the ticket price to a level where all of our community can realistically consider being part of the event.

As time is getting away from us, I would ask that you consider this request with your members as soon as possible and come back to me with your thoughts and hopefully offers of assistance.

Please note this event will not proceed if we cannot show a better than break even result.
