As we are hoping there will still be snow in the hills, clothes and camping gear must be suited for cold, alpine conditions.
Please carry enough food and drink for two full days.
We will be leaving Jamieson and driving up to the Mount Skene summit in snow (hopefully), allowing enough time for lunch and play around the summit area. Bring a toboggan ... !
Then we will continue beyond the summit towards Lazarinis Spur. We will camp just below the snow line, weather depending.
Sunday we will either drive back over Mount Skene towards Jamieson, retracing Saturday’s route, or be heading home via Woods Point depeding on what the weather conditions are.
Maps: Rooftop’s Jamieson / Licola adventurer map.
Convoy limit: Six vehicles. Dont forget I have to get a permit for members on this trip, this will require early notice of intent.
Enquiries: Peter Bladin on 0427 356 313, or 9855 1945.
Peter will be running some more snow trips over the coming months, at short notice. If it snows, he will go!
