This trip will be rescheduled later in the year.
John and Prue Hasler are taking a trip to Mt Feathertop – almost all the way on great 4WD roads. You’ll just have to walk the last bit – but you have all Sunday to do it! There is more info at http://www.rangeroverclub.org.au/node/859. If you want to go, get in touch with John indicated on the website.
Wednesday evening for theory, then Sunday in the bush to do the practical bit. We’ve had lots of new members into the club in recent months – have you all done driver training yet? Now’s your chance. Viv and Sue Chopping are taking us for some fun close to home. The trip notes are not on the website yet, but you’ll get an email notification as soon as they are.
Phill and Jane Collyer are running a trip based at Avoca that you can do as a day trip on either Saturday or Sunday, or a weekend trip. It’s a great area and will be a fun trip. More info and signups at http://www.rangeroverclub.org.au/node/852
We’ll be holding another Trip Planning Workshop in early to mid May. Details are still being finalised, so watch your email for notification when it hits the website. We’ll have a bit of a focus on a particular aspect of running trips an then look at the calendar to get some things listed for the winter season. If you have some ideas of things you’d like to see on the calendar, come along and let us know.
Advance notice that Stuckey Tyres and Michelin will be coming to the May Monthly Meeting to tell us all about the latest Goodrich and Michelin 4WD tyres. Watch Torque and the website for more info.
That's it for now, but watch your email - we will let you know as things come up.
See you at the meeting next week!
cheers
Steve
