Restoration - Genuine Range Rover tools needed to fill gaps in the tool kit

The toolkit - from the original Range Rover manualThe Range Rover Restoration project needs some genuine tools to fill in the gaps in the project cars toolkit.  The diagram (click for larger) from the original manual shows what should be there - if you have any of those tools at home that you can donate to the project, please let us know.

The RRCV has just started restoring a 2-door 1976 Range Rover as part of the 40th Birthday Celebrations.  We will be putting up a blog in the mext few days and you will be able to see pics from the first working bee and follow the resoration as it progresses.

In the meantime, we've started looking at the parts we need to make mechanical repairs and restore the car to its showroom condition and the toolkit is the first area of focus.  While the car is in excellent period condition, there are a number of gaps and replacement tools that should not be there.

Do you have any original Rangie tools at home that you can donate to the project?  The attached extract from the orignal manual shows what should be there.

If you can help, please contact us on rangerover40@rangeroverclub.org.au.
