Historic Racing Cars Evening
An evening has been arranged with Penrite Oil Company to be amongst one of Australia’s most prestigious private collections of classic racing cars.
Enjoy a half hour presentation on the collections past, present and future by one of Team Penrites most successful race drivers, Penrite employee for over 20 years and Motorsport Manager, Ken Bedggood.
The presentation will then detail Penrites colourful history and innovative product development. In conclusion, club members will have an opportunity to participate in a technical question and answer session.
Penrite's historic collection includes:
- 1963 Ac ACE – the onl;y original in the southern hemisphere
- 1938 BMW 328 – the only car of its type in Australia
- 1986 Penske Indy car – which competed in the 1986 CART world championship
- Team Penrite Racing vehicles including 1966 Brabham BT16, 1960 Lola Mk 1, 1983 Cheetha Mk 8, 1973 Lola 342 and the 1973 Van Dieman.
Appreciate the aesthetics of these stunning vehicles of yesteryear, whilst enjoying complimentary light refreshments.
An additional 5% off the standard club pricing is offered to all Club Members on the evening, bringing the total discount on Penrite products to 15%.
