No Disappointment This Time
A Sunday day trip with Phill and Jane Collyer, this time north of the city into Mt Dissapointment State Forest. Sign up early, so you wont be dissa... ah, miss out.
Meeting Time: 09:00 am Sunday 19 October
Meeting Place: Cnr Watson St and Northern Hwy, Wallan. (Watson St becomes the Wallan - Whittlesea Rd.) Wallan is approximately 48 km north of Melbourne – take the Hume Freeway and look for the turnoff. If you are travelling from Melbourne and get to Broadford or Seymour, you have gone too far.
Trip Classification: Mostly easy given that it has been so wet – we will try to find some tracks that require low-range.

Essentials: Vehicle in sound mechanical condition; full tank ex-Melbourne
Trip Notes: We have not been to this area for some years – there has been no time to survey this trip. We plan to visit Mt Disappointment SF, wind our way north to visit Strath Ck Falls, and finish in Broadford or Strath Creek.
Please bring your morning tea and a picnic lunch. This area can be cold and wet – please bring appropriate clothing.
