Rutherglen Wine weekend

Rutherglen was first established in the 1860’s for gold mining. But in the end it was a case of the gold rush giving way to the grape rush. On this trip we will be looking for liquid gold...

Directions: from Hume Freeway take Corowa exit, follow signs to Rutherglen. When you meet the Murray Valley Highway, turn right into Rutherglen (3 hours from Melbourne).

This is a leisurely 9 day, 8 nights meander around the spectacular Flinders Ranges allowing for more a relaxed drive and time to enjoy the scenery and explore the regions - and of course some exciting 4Wdriving.

Cape York

Description: The route is still being planned but will include many of the iconic spots the Cape is known for and some challenging tracks, such as the CREB and the Old Coach Road to Maytown. In addition to the usual 4WD activities we will setting some extra days aside to look at aboriginal rock art in the Quinkan country around Laura, explore the Palmer River Goldfields and do some fishing/walking etc.

NOTE: Quick espressions of interest needed as camping sites must be booked in advance - see below.
