Every summer, a group of members head off to the small township of Robe in South Australia, on the coast not far from the mouth of the Murray River. Many members take their vans whilst some still camp in tents – most stay at the Lakeside Caravan Park.

Cobaw State Forest is a small forest about 70km north of Melbourne. However for a small forest, it has a lot of tracks open to 4wdrivers which can be a challenge to one's skills.
It has been decided to collate February's Torque magazine a week or so before the February General Meeting. This will be done at the Collyers' house and will be in the format of previous home collations. That is, turn up any time after 7:30pm, socialise, talk about trips past and maybe future and at the same time collate the magazine (ie put the magazine and labels into the plastic
The first meeting for 2009 - and as usual, trip reports, news about what's happening and usually, a guest speaker. A great opportunity to catch up with other members.

This trip is taken from "4WD Days out of Melbourne" and is rated "Medium if dry". It is a relatively short trip in an area that has not been visited recently by RRCV. There are some walking trails and waterfalls marked on the map, so we’ll try to find some alternative activities as well as driving.
The Victorian 4WD Show attracts a large number of visitors and provides a great opportunity to look and learn about the latest accessories, motor vehicles, campers and modifications available to 4WDrivers. Each year the Show expands with new types of exhibitors. The Land Rover Club of Victoria hosts the show, at the Wandin Equestarian Centre. The RRCV will have a stand at the
Driver Training theory session, commencing 7.30 pm at the Four Wheel Drive Victoria Hall in Greythorn. The practical session is on the following Sunday.
